Sending you to them, you have nothing to lose that you may have already by other managers, agencies that YOU approached, unsolicited! I'm simply putting my foot in the door for you - soliciting you. It's these screenwriters I seek "scout" for the company to consider. Hence this post of mine. I'm a member of a good few screenwriting forums, of which I know many great screenwriters that have what it takes to be represented. If I feel this client has great potential - worthy of a manager and or agent? I pass this client on to my "neighbour", who likewise may have a client that has potential, but needs "polishing", and, they'd send this client to me. Now here are two clients of ours that have what it takes to break into this cruel industry! These two screenwriters may never have seen the light of day after being pushed around and rejected by managers, agents, and analyst. Some of my clients are really great screenwriters, not just in their script, but they themselves as a screenwriter with a unique voice.
A one-stop-shop if you like? Script management - agency - reader - analyst, on one platform - website. Long story short I recently joined their website in the interest of a collaboration that better serves the client. We got chatting, and she inquired about my role as a competition reader/analyst, and that I also offer this service in my personal capacity. I met the owner of the management/agency through a screenwriters form. Let me put you in the picture as to my involvement here. That's the beauty of forums - collective views and opinions on a particular subject. I've posted this here, instead of a PM, because it's useful to see how many different. Note: I've posted this here, instead of a PM, because it's useful to see how many different places we're all coming from, here at ScriptRevolution.
#Getting an agent as a screenwriter full
"Hip Pocket"? (For those who don't know, that's a one-off deal with a rep, versus full representation on the writer and his/her work as a whole.) Kingsley of course would be the cherry in any package. I think somebody with more "oomph" could get what I have to him, as I already have a producer who's interested but awaits a package.

And maybe one to Sir Ben Kingsley I've tried, but the Asst.

My only interest in a rep these days is if s/he would like to help me get a few specific things to Spielberg as a hip-pocket deal I have no chance to get that high up on my own. and then meeting up with a producer-of-record, finding co-pros, VFX, distribs, sales agents, the works. That is, I'm in the early stages of trying to become a producer - more likely EP - by trying to find attachments/financing etc. I have a challenge for you, sir: First, check my profile here to see where I'm coming from.
